Students of homeschooling families enroll in QHA and participate in courses from their home computer. They enjoy learning with students around the world while interacting in course discussions guided by Catholic instructors who are experts in their fields. Often times, students from different regions of the country meet in person to become acquainted and enjoy activities together. Every January, many QHA homeschool students trek to the March for Life in Washington, D.C. where they promote life and meet their online classmates. Full-time enrollment discounts up to 85% are available to homeschool families who have multiple children enrolled in the QHA program.
QHA curriulum is accessed through the internet using your school's computer lab or virtual classroom. All students use audio, video, chat, and whiteboard in live, daily interactive sessions guided by highly qualified QHA instructors. Students interact with their teacher and peers as course material is presented. It is very similar to a brick and mortar school; however, schools across the nation meet together to interact and share ideas. An onsite facilitator from your school oversees the daily routine, minimally assists the students with technology, and maintains an atmosphere in the computer lab or classroom for optimal learning. QHA teachers present the lessons, assign homework, provide online assessments, evaluate assignments, and give grades. Through our user-friendly course management system, students and parents can easily access grades for each course 24/7 to determine where their student stands in every course.
Implementation:
QHA, along with school representatives, helps develop a schedule using the QHA curriculum that works for your school. Your school technology, whether it is a lab situation or one large classroom, is tested by QHA to make sure it is functioning properly. QHA will also work closely with parents and facilitators as your program is initially implemented and also throughout the year to help make sure your school is operating smoothly.
Experience:
Three schools use the QHA curriculum. If your school is considering using our curriculum, we will put you in touch with representatives from an experienced school so you can ask questions about promotion, set up, and implementation. QHA will work closely with parents or school administrators to assist with the setup process.
Full-time Schedules:
Like individuals, schools may select courses from across all three time zones: Eastern, Central, or Pacific in order to build their school schedule. The following is an example of a school schedule, using all of the QHA curriculum that might work well for a school located in the Central time zone.

Part-time Schedules:
Some schools will have individuals that are qualified and willing to teach part of their school curriculum. QHA recognizes that using available expertise can save schools considerable tuition costs, and we will work with you to determine which classes you will want to use from the QHA curriculum. Tuition cost will be adjusted accordingly.
Tuition Pricing:
Full-time students enrolled in your school receive an additional 10% discount off QHA's already affordable tuition prices. Discounts range from 10% - 85%.
We have many co-ops across the United States and Canada that use our curriculum. Normally, co-op students participate in classes at home during the morning hours and then meet in the afternoons one to three times a week with other QHA students where they work together on labs, brainstorm the monthly essay, or just hang out with a lively discussion about what they are learning in their English and history courses. The sharing of ideas learned in their online classes with their "in person" friends is very encouraging and enjoyable for our students, particularly at the junior and senior high level. If there are six families, with at least one full-time student enrolled from each family in either the junior or senior high program, full-time students associated with your co-op receive an additional 10% discount off QHA's already affordable tuition prices. Discounts range from 10% - 85%.
