Wendy Pierce
Wendy brings a wealth of experience to QHA, having administered the Academy for 35 years and holding an A.A. in Business Administration from Iowa Community College. She also has years of homeschooling experience, having educated her five children from kindergarten through high school alongside her husband, Randall, and advising thousands of QHA families in their quest to successfully homeschool. Married for 48 years, Wendy and Randall are now semi-retired while continuing to administer Queen of Heaven Academy. Randall enjoys fishing and gardening. Wendy enjoys that Randall likes his pursuits while some of her favorite activities are pickleball, travel, and reading.
Randall Pierce
A native of San Diego, California, Randy entered the US Air Force in 1975 and served as an Air Force enlisted member for six years. He was awarded a Master Instructor Certification in 1979 and received his Air Force commission in April 1981. Throughout his 24 years of military service, he was a logistics officer who directly supported operations worldwide. After retiring from the military, Randall managed computer imaging, software packaging, and distribution for IBM. His current hobbies are fishing, gardening, and administering the Academy. He will watch pickleball, if needed.

Sarah Carmona
Sarah received her B.A. in Public Management in 2011 and her Masters in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in 2024. As a graduate of the Academy, she has experienced its growth first hand – many of her classes were beta courses! Truth be known, she knows more about the nuts and bolts of online education than most of the staff will probably ever know. Sarah is married to Mr. Robert Carmona and is living in the Sonoran Arizona desert with their two children, Ryan and Ellie. They enjoy coaching sport teams, exploring the wilderness, and relaxing around the pool.
