Our program is faithful to the magisterium of the Catholic church, emphasizing its constant consistency of two thousand years of Catholic teaching. Homeschoolers, co-ops, and schools all benefit from the Catholic curriculum offered by the Academy.
Exclusive to the Academy is our SafetyNet program, which gives parents peace of mind while their child is accessing the internet.
When enrolled in the SafetyNet, students cannot surf the web, email, chat, download files, or play games. They can only access QHA secure programs, which contain all the information needed to participate successfully in the program.
The QHA staff brings over 55 years of online administrative expertise to the Academy. They offer weekly webinars to explain the QHA program to new families and provide follow-up phone calls to help answer enrollment questions.
Providing transcripts, teaching student orientation, and assisting with technical support are part of their responsibilities. Still, most importantly, they assist students and parents throughout the year to help them have a positive and successful experience with online learning.
Queen of Heaven Academy's instructors, many of whom have over 15 years of online teaching experience, teach from a Catholic perspective, nurturing the desire of students to know and live the Catholic faith in all areas of life.
QHA instructors are experienced in using multiple online instructional techniques and adept at using tools available through internet conferencing software to present the curriculum to students in an interesting and engaging way.
Queen of Heaven Academy offers flexible learning opportunities through homeschool, co-op, and private school options.
The homeschool program provides a comprehensive online curriculum providing teaching, grading, recordkeeping, and social interaction.
The co-op option facilitates collaborative group learning experiences for families following the academy's structured program.
The private school option delivers a more traditional educational experience with structured schedules and direct teacher involvement, ensuring a guided learning path.
